The Arts of gesture and mask... in motion

The body and the object: from gesture to mask...

The body is a reflection and support of our feelings. We should not only see the body in its physical appearance and its role only in its tecnical dimension but as the envelope of our vibrant emotions preceding speech and image of our mind.

The body is reflecting in space; this way it materializes and expands our emotions to the edge of trouble.

Through gesture the body is placed again in its intuitive and emotional role. Beyond itself meaning emerges: from oneself, from the one real body to reach an imaginary body. Thus the theatre comes to life ruben the whole become a mask.

Mask (masks, puppet, matter...) each have their particular kinds of play; they lead to universal references and border fantasy and unreality, thus creating a distance between man and his reflection.

The mask is the eye and the performer's body is its voice.

From oneself to the other, the body becomes creative space.
